Robert "Pete" F. Lytle
December 15, 1941 - May 20, 2020

Robert F. "Pete" Lytle, age 78, of Monticello, AR, died Wednesday, May 20, 2020, at Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello, AR. He was born December 15, 1941 in Watson, AR to the late Charlie and Nora Howard Lytle.

Pete enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting and gardening. As a building contractor, he built many houses in Monticello and he poured and finished the slab for the first Wal-Mart in Monticello. He and his brother Jackie and nephew Kevin owned and operated Triple L Construction in Monticello. He was a hard worker taking care of and loving his family. He affectionately spoiled his children and grandchildren. Robert had a heart bigger than life and was a cheerful giver who was loved by his family and many friends.

In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his beloved son Robert Keith Lytle; and three brothers, Charles "Jr" Lytle, Shannon Lytle, and Jackie Lytle.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-four years, Donna Mann Lytle of Monticello, one son, Paul Stephen Lytle of Monticello, two daughters, Carol Anne Lytle Forrest and husband Tommy of Monticello, and Carmen Bonner of Benton; twelve grandchildren, Zach, Casey, Jessica, Devon, Billie, Stephen, Chaise, Joshua, Maeghan, Anagail, Jakob, Shamara; and six great grandchildren, Gracey, Lexa, Laney, Damon, James, Mason and Kaydence.

There will be a come and go viewing Friday May 22, 2020, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home Chapel. Please practice COVID- 19 protocol refraining from hugging, handshaking, and please keep a minimum distance of 6 feet between you and others that are not family. There will be a 10-person maximum restriction on the number of people allowed in the chapel at a time. A graveside service will be Saturday, May 23, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at Mt.
