Kain Patrick Strong, 11 of Monticello, passed away Sunday, December 30, 2012 at Drew Memorial Hospital. He was born April 25, 2001 in Kokomo, Indiana and was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include his mother, Tamara Abresch Strong of Monticello; his father, David Butts and step-mother, Shelley Butts of Kokomo, Indiana; one brother, Kyle Strong of Ft. Eustis, VA; one step-brother, Shane Pell of Kokomo, Indiana; five step-sisters, Shawnee Butts and Jessee Butts, both of Ohio, Shelby Collins, Carly Pell and Victoria Pell, all of Kokomo, Indiana; several aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
