Vickie Smith Caldwell, age 58 of Monticello passed away Friday, January 3, 2014 at the Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock. She was born June 24, 1955 in Pine Bluff, AR.
She was owner of Vickie's Daycare and was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed gardening and canning, and was well known for her delicious cooking and her open door policy. Vickie was former president of Babe Ruth Baseball and leader of 4-H groups. She was proceeded in death by one brother, Woody Smith.
Survivors include her husband, Paul Caldwell of Monticello; her father and stepmother, Derwood and Janelle Smith of Pine Bluff; her mother and stepfather, Paula and Ron Clements of Cordova, TN; two sons Chris Caldwell and wife, Paige and Will Caldwell and wife, Brittainy all of Monticello; one daughter, Sarah Caldwell of Los Angeles, California; one sister Debbie Hawkins of Memphis, TN; two half-brothers, Scott Clements of Cordova, TN and Greg Smith of Chesapeake, VA; three grandsons, Colt, Blaine, and Cooper Caldwell and one granddaughter, Sadye Caldwell all of Monticello.
