Lloyd E. Cobb, age 60 of Monticello passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2013, at the Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello. He was born November 26, 1953 to the late L.E. Cobb and Opal Cross Cobb. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Sandra Sellars.

He was a retired insurance agent and a member and deacon of Cominto Baptist Church. He was a volunteer fireman for the Collins- Cominto Fire Dept., enjoyed fishing, hunting and attending auctions. Lloyd was a loving husband, father and friend to many.

Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Linda White Cobb of Monticello; two daughters, Kimberly Cobb and Katherine Cobb both of Monticello; two brothers, J.W. Cobb of Hot Springs and Bill Hinds of Orange County, CA; two sisters, Brenda Hubbard of Hot Springs and Ruth Thomas of Clinton, MS; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
