He was a retired boilermaker and attended Green Hill Baptist Church where he loved church singing. He was also preceded in death by his two sons, Terry and Jeffery Jackson. Terry loved NASCAR and was a Mason where he was an active member of Eureka Lodge #40 in Monticello. He often visited other lodges so he could meet other "lodge brothers" throughout the nation. He was never a stranger to anyone and always received blessings by meeting new people.
Terry was known as "Doc" in the motorcycle world. He was always there to help anyone in need. "Doc" was a Charter Member of the Free Born Chapter of the Widows Sons, an organization that introduces Freemasonry to the public as well as the motorcycle community. The Widows Sons is a worldwide Masonic Motorcycle Organization which, among other things, provide relief to the widows and orphans of our Masonic brethren. They help promote Masonic awareness to the public and the Motorcycle community while participating in many public charity events.
Terry was a true freedom fighter and believed in belonging organizations which help protect our freedoms. Terry was a long time member of Arkansas Bikers Aiming Toward Education (ABATE District 18). He has served as President, Vice President and Road Captain for the Southeast Arkansas District. He is a previous recipient of the State Ray Gowen award and D-18 Member of the Year award. He was a founding member of Ride Free Arkansas PAC and a ten year member of the Motorcycle Riders Foundation (MRF). Terry dearly loved his ABATE Family.
Survivors include one daughter, Brittany Jackson of Green Hill; his mother, Viola Jackson of Green Hill; two brothers, Jesse "Jay" Jackson and family of Houston, Texas and Danny Jackson and family of Magnolia, Texas; three sisters, Sharon Mattson and family of Phoenix, Arizona, Judy Morgan and family of Pinehurst, Texas and Pauline Copelan and family of Pinehurst, Texas.

Warren, AR Thursday, September 11, 2014 Was absolutely shocked when I realized this man is the brother of Jay, whom I was friends with over 40 years ago. I had no idea any of the family still lived in the area. I remember Terry, his Mom, Dad, and family were the sweetest folks. Time has flown by, and we never know what tomorrow holds. Prayers and God be with all the family during this time......Mark Greenlee
