He was a welder and pipefitter, a member of Kappa Alpha Fraternity and enjoyed stock car racing. He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Gene Burton.
Survivors include his mother, Kay Burton of Monticello; one brother, Jeff Burton and wife, Kay along with their children, Zack and Tiffany of Lake Village; one sister, Sonya Floriani and husband, Vincent, along with their children, Heather and Cody of Maumelle; and the love of his life, Courtney Swain.
Funeral Service will be 10:00 am, Saturday, December 20 at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to Victory Junction, 4500 Adam's Way, Randleman, N.C. 27317. Online guestbook www.stephensondearman.com.
