Cinda Karen Yelvington, age 61 of North Little Rock, formerly of Pine Bluff, passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2015, at Baptist Medical Center in North Little Rock. She was born November 17, 1953 in Monticello, AR to the late Kenny Ray Yelvington and Juanita Bullock Yelvington.

She was a Medical-Speech Language Pathologist and was a member of Word Aflame Fellowship in Little Rock and also attended Gardner Memorial United Methodist Church in North Little Rock. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by uncles, James Bullock and Don Yelvington.

After obtaining her BA Degree in English Literature from the University of Arkansas at Monticello, she completed her Masters Degree at UAMS in Speech-Language Pathology, specializing in swallow studies. She was a member of the Arkansas Business Women's Association, the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and was a member of The Order of the Eastern Star Pines Chapter 517 - Pine Bluff.

Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Corn of North Little Rock; her two yorkies, Barrett and Braxton; aunts, Rita Bullock and Betty Bullock Gooden; uncle, David Bullock; special cousins, Pam Gooden Cook and Kaitlin Bullock; sister-in-law, Julie (Ed) Elliott; niece, Jennifer Burckhardt; as well as many beloved co-workers.

Graveside Services will be 11:30 A.M. Saturday, January 10, 2014 in Lacey Cemetery by Rev. Richard Mitchell. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Little Rock under the direction of Rev. James Lumpkin.

    I had no idea till just now that CINDA had died and am shocked! My whole family loved her dearly, dearly... This is such sad news. I send her sweet husband the sincerest condolences upon learning of her passing. We knew her to be a brilliant talent and an endeared friend. Cinda will always hold a very special place in our memories as well as our hearts.
