She was the widow of John Eugene "Gene" Loveless who she married September 25, 1954 and died May 15, 2005. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Pete, Podge and Doc Bailey. She was a member of The First Presbyterian Church of Monticello and was an honorary lifetime member of The Presbyterian Women. Naomi graduated from Lake Hamilton High School with honors.
Naomi was a very special Mom and great cook. She worked as a nurse for Dr. Wilson and Dr. Price for several years. Prior to that, she was the secretary at First Presbyterian Church. She also worked at Burlington Industries for a while. She has created many beautiful things throughout the years by sewing, crocheting, quilting and painting. Fishing was one of her favorite past times.
Surviving her are two sons, Jeffery Scott Loveless and wife, Karon of Monticello and Gregory Allen Loveless and wife, Carol of the Green Hill Community; six grandchildren, Heath Loveless of Monticello, Cassie Loveless, Emily Loveless Groves (Jeremy) of Warren, Jahue Loveless, Mariah Gober Bradley (Byron) and John Wyatt Loveless all of Wilmar; three great grandchildren, Caper and Trapper Groves and Stetson Bradley. She is also survived by a very special niece, Kim Grisham of Royal; and many friends.
Funeral service will be 11:30 AM Tuesday at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with burial in Sixteenth Section Cemetery. Visitation 6:00-8:00 pm Monday at the funeral home. Memorials to: First Presbyterian Church, 820 N. Main, Monticello, AR 71655. Online guestbook www.stephensondearman.com.
