James E. "Jim" Harris, age 58, of Wilmar passed away Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello.

He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Edward Harris.

James was a foreman for the pipeline having worked for Latex, Price Gregory, Henkle and McCoy, Michaels, and lastly for Q3 Construction Company.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Benson Harris of Wilmar; two sons, Josh Harris and wife Janell of Monticello and Jason Harris of Star City; one daughter Amanda Shelton and husband Joe of Rock Springs; his mother, Dorothy Ann Richardson of Monticello; one brother, Dan Harris and wife Linda of Texarkana, TX; one sister, Tammy Higgins and husband Tony of Monticello; one stepson, Allan Coomer and wife April of Rome, GA; two stepdaughters, Denise Luttrell and husband Ken, and Julie Isaac and husband Tim both of Cartersville, GA; 13 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, aunts, uncles, and other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, April 3, 2015 at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home Chapel with visitation Thursday evening at the funeral home from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. Online guest book at www.stephensondearmon.com.
