Helen Bailey Allen, age 86 of Pine Bluff, passed away Monday, April 6, 2015 at her home. She was born in Wilmar, AR on December 17, 1928 to the late James R. Bailey and Vonnie Stone Bailey.

She was the widow of E.L. Allen, and was also preceded in death by a brother, James "Jimmie" Bailey; and three sisters, Janie Ashcraft McLemore, Mary Chase and Vonita Clemons.

Helen was a loving wife to her husband of 47 years and was a devoted and loving mother to her son, Keith. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Pine Bluff where she was a very dedicated Christian, serving her Lord through her church and the people she came in contact with. Helen grew up in a very close family in Wilmar with her siblings that she loved very much.

Survivors include her son Keith Bailey Allen of Pine Bluff; one brother; William Bailey and wife Debbie of Odessa, TX; one sister, Dorothy Bailey Richardson of Monticello; one sister-in-law, Ann Bailey of Pasadena, TX and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 9 at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
