Betty Mae Hamilton Waller, age 83 from Monticello, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2015, at Belleview Nursing Home and Rehab in Monticello. She was born April 29, 1931 in Florence, Arkansas to the late Rueben Hamilton and Bettie Hoover Hamilton. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William L. Waller; three brothers, James, R.H. and Ernest Hamilton and two sisters, Myrtle Hamilton and Irene Sheiron.

She was a retired office manager for Maxwell Hardwood. She also worked for Selma Timber Company as a bookkeeper and office manager under owners, Lyman Hall and Bill Eason. The love of her life was her husband, daughter and grandchildren. She enjoyed camping, fishing, gardening and sharing vegetables with her neighbors.

Survivors include her daughter, Trudy Waller Jackson and husband James of Monticello; one sister, Mary Haney of El Dorado; a grandson, Rusty Jackson and wife Ericka of Birmingham, Alabama; a granddaughter, Tracy Jackson Day and husband Frank of Memphis, Tennessee; a sister-in-law, Maxine Hamilton of Hobbs, New Mexico and one brother-in-law, Richard Waller and wife Nina of McGehee.

Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with burial in Mt. Tabor Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home. Online guestbook www.stephensondearman.com.
