Roland D. Cater, 79 of Monticello passed away Friday, April 10, 2015 in Harrison AR.

He was born June 13, 1935 to the late William Cal Cater and Ruby Rozell Cater. He was also preceded in death by his brother Charles Lamar Cater; three sisters Martha Ann Cater, Rose Carolyn Murphy, and Janice Darlene Satterlee; along with several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

He is survived by one sister, Alice Wolfe and husband Melvin of Harrison; one aunt, Evelyn Truman of Pine Bluff; and several nieces and nephews and many who loved him.

Funeral service will be held Saturday at 3:00 PM at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Gaster Hill Cemetery in Monticello. Visitation will be prior to the funeral service from 1:00 3:00 PM at the chapel. Online guestbook at www.stephensondearman.com.
