Mrs. McGuire just read about Mr. McGuire and I want you to know our heart goes out to you and all the family. He was a great man who had a great influence on me growing up in Monticello and I always looked forward to seeing him with that friendly welcome every time we went back to see Mom. May God Bless you during this time and I can just see Mr. Louis greeting everybody with that friendly welcome as they enter into their eternal reward!! Love you Mrs. McGuire.

    Mrs. Betty,
I was so sorry to hear about the passing of Mr. McGuire. I just learned of his death on yesterday. He and I would talk almost every day at The Woods when I visited my mom. If I didn't see him, he would stop by my mom's room to speak and see how she was doing.
The two of you were always some of the sweetest people I've ever known. It is my hope and prayer that you will continue to live life to the fullest and know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. May God bless you and keep you in His care.

    Barbara Benton

Uncle Louis will be missed. He definitely was a favorite uncle. He was always warm and kind and sweet. And I will never forget his smile. He let me learn to drive using his pickup truck as we zoomed around fields picking up bales of hay. He taught me to bird hunt and fish. He always had the warmest and softest hands to shake or to pat you on the back. We will miss him.

He was one of the dearest people on this earth, and we were so blessed to have him in our family. He genuinely cared for all of us sisters-in-law and we are so happy they found each other. It's a love story that we never tire of repeating.
