Betty Lemley Sloan, age 78 of Monticello, passed away Monday, June 8, 2015 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock. She was born in Lake Village AR on March 15, 1937 to the late W. M. Lemley and Allie Orell Gilliam Lemley.

She was the widow of Albert Sloan, Sr., retired from Burlington Industries and was a member of the United Pentecostal Church. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one daughter, Donna Sue Sloan; one brother, Junior Lemley; and two sisters, Myrtle Pulliam and Clara Mae Nelson.

Survivors include one son, Albert Sloan, Jr. of Cleveland, GA; three daughters, Sherry Sloan Myers of Monticello, Debra Sloan Finley and husband Tim of Apalachicola, FL and Clara Louise Sloan Brigham of Monticello; two brothers, William B. "Burl" Lemley and wife Brenda and Riley T. Lemley and wife Shirley all of Monticello; one sister, Mary Lemley Curtis of Monticello; seven grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Thursday at the United Pentecostal Church with burial in Mt. Tabor Cemetery. Visitation 6:00-8:00 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Online guestbook www.stephensondearman.com.
