He was a machinist and loom operator for Next Wire Corporation where he was employed for 34 years, former owner of Goldworks Jewelry in Warren and a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Nugent Fitzwater of Sheridan; two daughters, Shea Long and husband Jonathan of Bryant and Alissa Green and husband Michael of Benton; one brother, Cliff Fitzwater and wife Becky of Memphis, TN; four grandchildren, Lauren, Caleb, Colin and Gabrielle; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 3:00 pm Tuesday, August 18 at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with burial in Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00-3:00 pm Tuesday prior to the funeral service. Arrangements by Stephenson-Dearman. Online guestbook www.stephensondearman.com.
