I served in the armed forces.
Jimmy Fred Rash, age 67 of Monticello, passed away Friday, December 11, 2015 at his home. He was born April 1, 1948 in Drew County, AR to the late James Robert Rash and Margie Marie Ballard Rash.

He was a retired truck driver, a United States Army Veteran and a member of the Enon Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Faye Rash; one brother, Bill Rash; and his son-in-law, Donald Hunnicutt.

Survivors include his daughter, Donna Hunnicutt of Monticello; two sisters, Mary Collins and husband Billy and Hilda Cox and husband Vernon all of Little Rock; one grandson, Barrett Hunnicutt; and his life-long best friend, John Ray Lewis.
