He was a retired truck driver, a United States Army Veteran and a member of the Enon Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Faye Rash; one brother, Bill Rash; and his son-in-law, Donald Hunnicutt.
Survivors include his daughter, Donna Hunnicutt of Monticello; two sisters, Mary Collins and husband Billy and Hilda Cox and husband Vernon all of Little Rock; one grandson, Barrett Hunnicutt; and his life-long best friend, John Ray Lewis.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday evening, December 14 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel. Memorials may be made to: Peggy Doss Endowed Scholarship Fund, c/o UAM Foundation Office, Monticello, AR 71656. Online guestbook www.stephensondearman.com.
