She worked for the Monticello City Water Office and was a member of Eden Baptist Church. She loved to hunt, fish, cook and make crafts. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Woodrow Jeffers, Nat & Madie Stanley; and her father-in-law, Rex Barnett.
Survivors include her husband, William C. "Bubba" Barnett of Monticello; two daughters, Makayla Rexanne Barnett and Laura Cecile Barnett both of Monticello; one brother, James Michael Jeffers of Hamburg; one sister, Belinda Kay Jeffers of Pine Bluff; her parents, Conley and Sherry Jeffers of Hamburg; her grandmother, Bonita Jeffers of Hamburg; her mother-in-law, Virginia Ann Barnett of Monticello; and also a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel with burial to follow in Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Online guestbook www.stephensondearman.com.
