He was a United States Navy and Marine Veteran having served in Okinawa and San Diego during the Vietnam War era. He was retired from DHS having served as a social worker, an avid hunter and fisherman, chef, gardener, and a defender of Human Rights and Equality. William was a very loving father and grandfather.
Survivors include one son, Baeron W. H. Warren and wife Kerry of Sherwood; two daughters, Kate Warren of Barrow, Alaska and Cherie McMahon and husband Matthew of Rock Springs; two grandsons Lucas Andrew Warren and Joshua Lee McMahon both of Rock Springs; and the mother of his children, Cheryl L. Warren of Little Rock.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

No one wants to happen this as God has promised to, one day soon, eliminate death forever, along with all sickness, pain, and sorrow. (Rev.21:4) He has also promised to reunite us with our loved ones on a restored paradise earth. The Bible says he yearns to do this. (John 5:28,29; Job 14:14,15) I hope these scriptures will bring comfort to each of you as we will meet William again soon.
