She was a retired teacher's aid and waitress and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by the father of her children, Luther Charles "L.C." Owen; two brothers, Eugene "Jack" Frost and Clarence McKeown; one sister, Mary Loyd Wood; and one daughter, Kimberly Eberlein.
Survivors include her husband, Ray H. "Poppy" Graves of Monticello; two sons, Tony Owen and wife Bridget of Star City and Garvin Owen of Monticello; one daughter, Karen Hayden of Rogers; two sisters, Margaret Brashaw and Barbara Campbell both of Tupelo, MS; seven grandchildren, Damon, Sara, Steven, Chris, Candice, Lauren and Anthony; fifteen great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 14, 2016 at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with burial to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Visitation 6:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home. Online guestbook www.stephensondearman.com
