Jerry Donald Woodall, age 63 of Monticello, went to be with his Lord and Savior Sunday, April 10, 2016 at the Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello. He was born September 14, 1952 in Warren, AR to the late Howard Taylor Woodall and Minnie Myres Woodall.

Jerry was raised in Warren where he attended Warren Public Schools before attending the University of Arkansas at Monticello where he received a degree in accounting. He was a CPA and CFE and served as the Regional Director for the Southern Division of Arkansas Legislative Audit. Jerry was an avid runner and counted running the Boston Marathon in 1998 as one of his biggest accomplishments. He served as a Deacon at First Baptist Church of Monticello and was on the board of directors for Hope Place in Monticello. His greatest joy, however were his children and grandchildren who affectionately referred to him as "Papoo".

Survivors include his wife, Waynette Lindsey Woodall of Monticello (married July 7, 1974); one daughter, Lindsay Woodall Grissom and husband Jeremy of Monticello; one son, Jeremy Taylor Woodall and wife Becca of Monticello; two brothers, Howard Wayne Woodall of Van Buren and Ronnie Woodall of Rye; and his three special grandchildren, Katelin and Jonathan Grissom and Willow Woodall.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at First Baptist Church in Monticello by Rev. Chuck Hoover and Rev. Dennis Dodson with burial to follow in Oakland Cemetery. Family visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to the First Baptist Church Momentum Campaign or Hope Place of Monticello at 413 N.
