She was the widow of James Lowery, a homemaker and a member First Freewill Baptist Church. Other than her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three nephews, Kerry Boykin, Andy Boykin and Leslie "Les" Cruce; and two great-nieces, Taylor and Kara Boykin.
Survivors include, two sons, William "Will" Lowery and wife Mackie of Monticello and Arthur Lowery all of Monticello; three sisters, Betty Boykin Knobloch and husband Buddy, Kathy Boykin and Pat Cruce all of Monticello; three granddaughters, Wendy Paty and husband Jacob of Sheridan, Kelli Lowery of Rison and Whitney McGregor of Monticello; one great-granddaughter, Ava Paty of Sheridan; one sister-in-law, Betty Lou Payne of Lubbock, TX; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel with burial to follow in Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home. Online guestbook at www.stephensondearman.com.
