I served in the armed forces.
Arthur J. (Junior) Lenderman, age 74 of Monticello, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at the Veteran's Hospital in Little Rock. He was born July 25, 1941 in Garrett Bridge, AR to the late Arthur Isaac Lenderman and Zeffie Lois Williams Lenderman.

He was a veteran of the United States Army, a farmer and member of Old Union Southern Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Leroy Lenderman.

Survivors include his wife, Wanda Gail Pharr Lenderman of Monticello; one son, Mark Arthur Lenderman and fiancé, Wendy of Monticello; one daughter, Judie Gail Bariola and husband Stephen of Carlisle; one brother, E.O. Lenderman and wife Betty of Dumas; two sisters, Mary Gilbreath of Longview, TX and Lois Milligan and husband Charles of Dumas; four grandchildren, Halie Markee' Waltman and husband Jachob, John Tyler Lenderman, Andrea Renee Polk and husband Alan and Virginia Ann Bariola; a sister-in-law, Barbara Lenderman of Dumas; and four great-grandchildren, Holden Waltman, Jace Waltman, Jaxx Waltman and Helen Avaley Polk.

Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 25, 2016 at Old Union Southern Baptist Church with Rev. Jason Cater and Rev. Fay Collins officiating. Burial will follow in Tyro Cemetery with Military Honors. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday evening at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home.
