Dustin Lane Jones, age 15 of Casa, AR passed away Friday, July 15, 2016 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born October 13, 2000 in McGehee, AR to Ronnie Wayne Jones and the late Beverly Lynn Cater.

He was a 10th grade student at Dardanelle High School where he was drum major of the Sandlizard Marching Band. Dustin was an active member of Centerville Assembly of God Church. He was a member of FBLA, East Lab, volunteered at Dardanelle Nursing Center and wrote for Dardanelle School and Dardanelle city newspaper. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ernest Cater.

Survivors include his father, Ronnie Wayne Jones of Casa; his step-mother, Kelli Jones of Casa; three sisters, Elizabeth Collins of Dermott, Sidney Andrews of Casa and Brookelynn Cupples of Dermott; two brothers, Ben Burnett of Casa and Gage Cupples of Dermott; grandmothers, Phyllis Cater of Dermott, Debbie Parker and Rhonda Reece both of Dardanelle and Billie Jean Jones of Lake Village; grandfathers, Rodney Jones of Dermott, Jeff Reece of Dardanelle and Billy Jones of Lake Village.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home. There will also be a visitation and funeral service later this week in Dardanelle that will be announced by Cornwell Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bryant's Cove Cemetery.
