Phenton L. Chambers Lane

Phenton L. Chambers Lane, age 93 of Monticello passed away Friday, May 29, 2009 at the Gardner Nursing Home in Star City, AR. She was born July 9, 1915 to the late Seth Chambers & Georgia Lee Chambers.

She was a retired textilemill inspector and a member of the Second Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by one son, Shelby Joe Chambers, two daughters, Carolyn Burton & Brenda Guillory & four brothers.

Survivors include two sons, C. Wayne Lane & wife, Sandra of Monticello and Ray Lane & wife, Frances of Dumas; one step son, Rachel Lane of Monticello; three daughters, Vada Boone & husband, George of El Dorado, Ann Jerry & husband, Charles of El Dorado and Carla Martin & husband, Don of Star City; two sisters, Floy Lee Anderson of Broken Arrow, OK & Maysel Keen of Crossett; and nineteen grandchildren.
