Glen Ray Bashaw, age 84 of Monticello, passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at his home. He was born January 12, 1934 in Malvern, AR to the late Harmon and Nola Snow Bashaw.

He was a retired petroleum engineer for Baker Hughes Inc. and was of the Assembly of God faith. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Kelly Ray Bashaw; and one sister, Jean Lemke.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Bobbie Wilson Bashaw of Monticello; two sons, Robert Glen Bashaw of Monticello and Royce Wayne Bashaw and wife Lynn of Ft. Smith; one daughter, Leasa Carol Bashaw of Monticello; one sister, Sue Bowers and husband Dwain of Monticello; five grandchildren, Jason Bashaw and wife Sara of Colt, AR; Amber White and husband Harper of Warren; Ashley Courson of Monticello; Trevor Bashaw and Olivia Bashaw both of Manhatten, KS; three great-grandchildren, Casper, Piper and R.J.; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services was 3:00 p.m. Friday, April 13, 2018 at First Assembly of God Church. Visitation was 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home. Committal service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Hall Cemetery in Langley, AR. Online guestbook at www.stephensondearman.com.
