James Wesley Haney, age 62 of Monticello, passed away April 14, 2018 at his home. He was born April 4, 1956 in Monticello, AR to the late Charles Wesley Haney and Ruby Brume Haney.

He was a retired fitter for SeaArk Boat Company and was a member of Lacey United Methodist Church. He enjoyed woodworking and was a good carpenter. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Jessie and Claude Alsobrook; and a sister, Brenda Haney.

Survivors include two sons, Eric Nichols of Warren and John Cornett of Van Buren; one sister, Teressa Kelly of Monticello; one niece, Casey Trantham and husband Ricky of Monticello; one nephew, Hunter Neptun of Monticello; two grandchildren; and two great-nephews, Kyle Trantham and Cody Trantham both of Monticello.

Funeral service will be 6:00 p.m. Monday, April 16, 2018 at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel. Visitation 4:00-6:00 p.m. Monday afternoon prior to service time. Online guestbook at www.stephensondearman.com.
