I served in the armed forces.
Jerry Lee McManus, age 75 of Monticello, passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at his home in Ladelle. He was born April 3, 1943 in Drew County, Arkansas to the late Carl Don McManus and Effie Carpenter McManus.

He was a self-employed carpenter, worked as a policeman in Warren, was a United States Army Veteran and of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one brother, Raymond McManus.

Survivors include two daughters, Donna McManus of McGehee and Carla Cundiff and husband Eddie of Monticello; two brothers, Rev. Bob McManus and wife Barbara of Koshkonong, MO and Harold McManus and wife Carolyn of Ladelle; three grandchildren, Brandi Hunt, Crystal Carter and Colton Cundiff; four great-grandchildren, Jaylon, Kylie, Cameron and Drake; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 27, 2018 at Ladelle Baptist Church with burial to follow in Ladelle Cemetery. Visitation 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home. Online guestbook www.stephensondearman.com.
