I served in the armed forces.
George E. Miller, age 87 of Wilmar passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2018, at Bradley County Medical Center in Warren. He was born May 29, 1931 in Chicago, IL to the late George W. Miller and Elizabeth Higgins Miller.

He was a retired truck driver, United States Korean War Air Force Veteran and a member of Rock Springs United Methodist Church. He was the owner/operator of Enterprise Trucking Company of Rock Springs for 50 years, taking him all over the United States, Canada and Mexico. He was a loving husband, dad and papa and was a very generous soul always helping those in need. Mr. Miller was an avid Houston Astros fan and had a great love for animals. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Robert Miller and Otto Miller; three sisters, June Akom, Doris Griffith and Joann Mittelsteade; and a son-in-law, Mark Campbell.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Sue Montgomery Miller of Rock Springs; one son, Lance Miller and wife Laura of Gillette, WY; two daughters, Linda Montgomery of Waco, TX and Marion Campbell of Montgomery, TX; five sisters, Shirley Knudsen and Norma Jean Taylor both of Ohio, Patricia A. Turner and husband Bob of Rock Springs, Sharon Marrs and Pat Reeves both of TN; one brother, Alan Miller of TN; five grandchildren, Cheryl Grosso (Dave), Allan Campbell (Jeannie), Jason Plumley (Rachel), Allison Barrett (Matthew) and Wesley Campbell; eight great-grandchildren, David, Will, Maddy, Jack, Kate, Bradley Lucas and Franklin; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Rock Springs United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Rock Springs Cemetery with Military Honors. Visitation will be 2 hours prior to the service at the church. Online guestbook at www.stephensondearman.com.
