He was retired after 36 years from Potlatch in Warren and was a member of Trinity Methodist Church in Warren. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one grandson, Ben Cook; four brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Mary Griffin Temple of Wilmar; two sons, Douglas Temple and wife Sussie of Wilmar and Scott Temple and wife Shelley also of Wilmar; two daughters, Rebecca Burnett and husband Danny of Star City and Paige Crook and husband Danny of Pine Bluff; eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren; and one sister, Ouita Wright of Longview, TX.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with burial to follow in Wilmar Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Online guestbook at www.stephensondearman.com.
