He was employed at Curry's Pest Control and was a member of Pentecostal Church of God Family Worship Center in Warren.
Survivors include one son, Lane Austin Simpson and wife Summer of White Hall; one daughter, Kelsey Davis Simpson of Stuttgart; his grandson, Brantley Wayne Simpson of White Hall; his father, Clyde Franklin Simpson, Sr. of Monticello; his mother, Patty Hill Clontz and step-father, Dusty of Monticello; one brother, Albert Simpson and wife Rebecca of Monticello; two sisters, Crystal Wilson and fiancé Jimmy Shipp of Monticello and Tasha Higdon and husband Kenny of Sterlington, LA; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 5, 2018 at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with burial to follow in Mt. Tabor Cemetery. Visitation 6:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday evening at the funeral home. Online guestbook at www.stephensondearman.com.
