Kenneth Juan "Sonny" Foreman, age 86 of Monticello, passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2019, at his home after a long hard fight with Alzheimer's. He was born July 9, 1933, in Monticello, AR to the late Charles Foreman and Lavetra Higgins Foreman.

He was a retired mechanic, served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and was a member of Wood Avenue Presbyterian Church. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved his time at his deer camp with family and friends. His love of family knew no boundaries. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his daughter, Tina Foreman Johnson; two brothers, Billy Foreman and Mike Foreman; and three sisters, Charlsie Wiscaver, Theda Stacks and Patricia "Tish" Welch.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Foreman of Monticello; his daughter, Lisha "Lu" Davis and husband Bob of Hamburg; a son, Jay Foreman of Monticello; his son-in-law, Curt Johnson of Monticello; seven grandchildren, Jennifer, Todd, Mary, Nancy, Patrick, Michael and Tristan; eight great-grandchildren; and a special family friend, Andy Mahfouz.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 17, 2019, at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel with burial to follow in Union Cemetery at Rye. Family visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to: Alzheimer's of Arkansas, 201 Markham Center Drive, Little Rock, AR 72205.     I was so sorry to hear of Sonny's passing. As a teenager he, my brother Shelby Doss and Bobby Joe Montgomery were close friends and they spent a lot of time at our house. My deepest sympathy to all of the family. He will be missed by many. RIP Sonny.
