She was the widow of Rev. Jack Ferguson, a retired school teacher and member of Second Baptist Church. She was a "Pink Lady" hospital volunteer at Drew Memorial Hospital, enjoyed reading and working crossword puzzles. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth and Downey Bowden; and one sister, Geneva Clampit.
Survivors include one son, Dennis Ferguson and wife Florinda of Monticello; two daughters, Debbie Moon and husband Steve of Pine Bluff and Denitia Bird and husband Rick of Magnolia; one brother, Clifford Bowden of the Prairie Grove community in Drew County; nine grandchildren, Drew, Kyle, Daniel, Joseph, Michael, Traci, Lauren, Josh and Courtney; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, 2020, at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with Rev. Ray Hearron officiating. Burial will be in Prairie Grove Cemetery. Visitation 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Prairie Grove Cemetery Association. Online guestbook at www.stephensondearman.com.
