He was a truck driver and logger and worked in the woods most of his life. Jimmy was a loving father, loved his grandkids with his whole heart and took great pride in his family which he always said was his biggest accomplishment. He was also a great brother to his siblings and a good friend to many. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by three brothers, Junior Frost, James Jackson and Dewayne Jackson; one sister, Francis Lawson; and two grandchildren, Ashlyn Nicole Veasey and Ashton Drake Veasey.
"Come to me, all you are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
- Matthew 11:28-30
