She was a retired Burlington Industries employee and a Baptist. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by four brothers, Cal Cater, Otis Cater, Arle Cater, J.D. Cater and Merle Cater; and three sisters, Grace Cater, Eunice McQuiston and Clara Walters. Mrs. Lily loved to garden and grow pretty flowers.
Survivors include four sisters, Bessie McClellan of Warren, Lovenner White of Monticello, Evelyn Chamberlain and Mary Sanders both of Pine Bluff; two nephews she help raise, William and Johnny Pemberton; along with numerous other nieces and nephews.
Funeral service following Covid-19 guidelines will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 6, 2020, at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel with Rev. Jason Cater officiating. Burial will be in Old Union Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 9:00-10:00 a.m. preceding the funeral service. Online guestbook at www.stephensondearman.com.
