Mary Beth Woods-Sivils, 79, of Monticello, passed away Monday, June 29, 2009 at her home. She was born February 19, 1930 in Hamburg, AR and was the daughter of the late Bunyan Courson and Bertha Richards Courson.

She was the retired Administrator of Drew County Health Department and a member of Second Baptist Church in Monticello. She was preceded in death by the father of her children, Thomas K. Woods; three brothers, Richard Courson, B. A. Courson and Harry Courson; and four sisters, Nell Davis, Carrie Hill, Modelle Bunn and Peggy Echols.

Survivors include her husband, Gwain Sivils of Monticello; one son, Richard Woods and wife, Barbara of Monticello; one daughter, Sandra Allsup and husband, Steve, of Wilmar; one sister, Virginia Grice Riley of Monticello; one stepson, Joe Sivils and wife, Meredith of Crossett; four grandsons, Tommy Woods, Aarron Woods, Jubal Woods and Richard Woods, all of Monticello; one granddaughter, Rebecca Socia of Monticello; four great-grandchildren.
