Roth Lee Rabb, age 86 of Monticello passed away Sunday, July 5, 2009 at his home in Monticello AR. He was born January 12, 1923 in Drew County, AR to the late Tom Watson Rabb and Jewel Calhoun Rabb.

He was retired from the Arkansas Highway Department and was a member of Rose Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Frances Jones Rabb; a sister, Katie Rabb Raines; three brothers, Colby Rabb, Grover Rabb and Joe Rabb; and a stepson, Shelby Huffman.

Survivors include his wife, Florence Huffman Rabb of Monticello; one son, Roth E. Rabb and wife, Alice of Rison; one daughter, Marsha Rabb Daniel and husband, Steve of Hot Springs; a stepson, Bruce Huffman and wife, Linda of Monticello; one step daughter, Teri Caldwell and husband, Steve of Monticello; a daughter-in-law, Martha Huffman of Monticello; three brothers, Tom Rabb and Lester Rabb both of Monticello and Ibb Rabb of Sugarland, TX; two sisters, Camille Berryman and Janie Fuller both of Monticello; a sister-in-law, Carrie Hamilton of El Dorado; five grandchildren, seven step grandchildren, several great grandchildren; and his caregiver, Arlene Lloyd.

Officiating ministers will be Rev. Charles Hoover and Rev. Larry Wilkerson. Active pallbearers are Roth E. Rabb, Aaron Rabb, Noah Rabb, Bruce Huffman, Steve Caldwell and A.J. Huffman. Honorary pallbearers are his fellow band members, Warner Vining, Chuck Cater, Charles Quimby, Lester Rabb, Larry Carr, Joe McClellan and Mary Lu Mahurin.
