He was a retired maintenance supervisor at Annswood Apartments for 24 years and a retired plumber. He also retired from the Monticello Fire Department and Drew County Civil Defense, serving 20 years, and was a member of Pauline Missionary Baptist Church in Monticello. He was the son of the late Harry Wiscaver and Tommie Vareen Coker Wiscaver and was preceded in death by one brother, John Lee Wiscaver.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Emma Jean Miller Wiscaver of Monticello; three daughters, Carolyn Smith and husband, Harold of Monticello, Beverly Stevenson and husband, Larry of Spring Lake, Michigan and Tommie Moyers and husband, George of Crossett; seven grandchildren, Brian Smith and wife, Mitzi, Cara Fletcher and husband, Wes, Chris Rash and wife, Katie, Amanda Bequette and husband, Dave, Larry Stevenson, Alan Bickford and wife Amanda and Jared Bickford and wife, Melissa; eight great-grandchildren, Grace and Ashtyn Smith, Logan, Lillian and Lynley Fletcher, Reagan and Peyton Bequette and Lane Bickford; sister-in-law & brother-in-law, Betty and John Howlett, and a host of nieces and nephews and friends.
