She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Charles Beard, a homemaker and a member of the Rose Hill Free Will Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Clyde and Hattie Williams Clemons and was also preceded in death by a brother, Bud Clemons and a sister, Carrie Bea Beard. Clydia Rae enjoyed crocheting and crocheted many caps and sent them to St. Jude's Hospital for several years. Most importantly, she was a Christian and was very faithful to her church family and friends.
Survivors include two daughters, Juanda Craig and Marilyn Crutchfield and husband, Larry all of Monticello; two half sisters, Vergie Carpenter of Malvern and Mada Newton of Leola; two grandsons; Yancy Box of Midwest City, Oklahoma and Rick Anthony and wife, Brandy of Monticello; four granddaughters, Vanessa Johnson and husband, Dave of Monticello, Tisa Kennedy and husband, Sam of Arp, Texas, Denese Hawkins of Monticello and Monica Patrick of Batesville, AR; thirteen great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
