Betty Derryberry Scroggins, 76 of Monticello passed away Friday, December 27 at Belleview Rehab and Nursing Home. She was born January 14, 1937 to the late William Franklin Derryberry and Florence Dean Derryberry in Eudora, AR.

She was a homemaker, a Christian and was preceded in death by one son, Billy Everett; two brothers, Gerald Derryberry and William Derryberry and one sister, Hazel Derryberry.

Survivors include her husband of 39 years, John Scroggins of Monticello; one son, Johnny Scroggins of Bakersfield, CA; two daughters, Judy Langwell of Batesville, AR and Janet Gavin of Monticello; three brothers, Frank Derryberry of Idaho, John Derryberry of New Mexico and Charles Derryberry of Las Vegas, NV; one sister, Martha Derryberry of Arkansas; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
