At an early age, she joined Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church and committed her life to the Lord. She was a homemaker. In later years, she was unable to attend church due to complications, but she always kept God close to her heart and knew when to praise Him. Sister Willie Mae loved people, her family and she never met a stranger.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Johnny Ray Rush.
She leaves to cherish her memory, two sons, Delbert (Lorraine) Arrington of Lacey, AR, and Leonard Ingram of Monticello, AR; two daughters, Carolyn (Leron Sr.) Miller and Renee Rush, both of Monticello, AR; one brother, James Ingram of Hot Springs, AR; nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

, AR Tuesday, August 12, 2014 I had the privilege of knowing this sweet lady because I'm engaged to her granddaughter. Through the short time I knew her, she taught me so much about strength and human willpower. She will be missed, but we could see where she's at, we wouldn't shed another tear. I'm blessed to have known her and I will follow Christ while on Earth, and I will see her again one day.james nicholson
