Paul H. Morgan, age 76 of Monticello, passed away Monday, August 11, 2014 at his home. He was born June 1, 1938 in Kosciusko, Mississippi to the late Jessie Irby Morgan and Juanita Sweat Morgan.

He was a retired farm manager for J & J Farms in Firebaugh, California, was owner/operator of Paul's Wrecker & Towing Service in Monticello for years and was a member of the United Pentecostal Church of Monticello. He was also preceded in death by three granddaughters, Alianna Flores, Tiffany York and Toni Navarrette and one sister, Erlene Morgan Jones.

Survivors include two daughters, Paula Annette Morgan of Madera, California and Lajeana Morgan Shoffner of Reedley, California; one stepson, Timothy York of Kerman, California; two stepdaughters, Mary York and Tina York both of Cleveland, TN; three brothers, Ennis Morgan of Monticello, Irby Morgan of Fresno, California and James W. Morgan of Monticello; four sisters, Erma Douglas of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Barbara Abernathy and Lena Randle both of Monticello and Jenell Sharp of Clera, AL; thirteen grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
