Maxine and Cordell were some of my closest friends while growing up in Monticello. Maxine was a classmate for many years, graduating in 1955.
I lost contact with Cordell and Maxine when I reenlisted in the Army and went to Vietnam
The Stewart family will be in our prayers and memories .

I will always remember Ms. Maxine being our sweeet Moma at WC Whaley when we were hurt, scared, or just wanted a hug. She was always nice and helpful. I will never forget her or her beautiful smile. Missed and never forgotten.
