Cecil & I have often thought of Mr. Harry since we moved. We always enjoyed visiting with him. Mr. Harry loved all his family and was especially proud of his grandson Burke the pilot. There's not many people that would have hunted from their bedroom window but Mr. Harry had a knack for doing things his way even in his 90s. He was a lovable old fellow that will be missed. Our condolences for your loss.

Harry was my 1st cousin. We grew up in the same neck of woods and I knew him all of my life. I returned to Monticello in 1948 to register for the draft and wound up picking cotton for Harry for a week. I told him that there was a big tractor waiting for me in western Kans. and I was giving up my cotton sack for good. I always tried to visit Harry during my visits back to Monticello. Harry and I left Monticello to seek our fortune, he did well enough to return and enter farming and construction.
