He was self-employed in the custom construction business and was of the Baptist Faith. Tommy had a smile that would light up the world.
Survivors include; his wife, Ginger Hunter Hammil of Monticello, five sons, Levi Hammil, Jake Hammil and Logan Camden all of Monticello, Jason Camden of Star City and Noah Word of Dumas; two daughters, Ashley Via of Star City and Lexy Meeks of Monticello; his mother and step-father, Patricia Harris Grant and Gary of Warren; father, Clyde Hammil and wife Kaye of Crossett; two sisters, Diane Hartness of Monticello and Amanda Jenkins and husband Shawn of Mer Rouge, LA; five granddaughters, two grandsons and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A memorial/visitation will be held 3:00 pm Saturday, November 1st at the First Assembly of God Church, Building #2 in Monticello in memory of Tommy.

Lamar and I were so thankful Ginger found someone that loved her and treated her like a queen..After Ginger's daddy passed away Tommy would come by every week and get my gas cans and go get me gas for my lawn mower.
