Jo, we are very sorry to hear of Preston passing. He and I not only were cousins and grew up in the same neck of woods. we were life long friends. Long before we were old enough to be employed, we hired out with our Crosscut saw and Axes to cut logs until an accident resulted in Preston being hospitalized overnight and because we were too young to be insured our job as log cutters was terminated. We also picked cotton together in Miss. He was also my best buddy when I needed help in stuffing a news paper in the back seat of my overalls just before I was to get a paddling from my teacher.
