Ralph G. Garrison, age 82 of Monticello, passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello. He was born March 18, 1932 in Dermott, AR to the late Horace Franklin Garrison and Emma Lou Dye Garrison.

He was a retired welder, member of the Arkansas National Guard for 13 years and was a member and Deacon of Second Baptist Church. Ralph was a knife collector, an avid reader and loved the field of aviation. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Horace Franklin Garrison, Jr. and Bobby Garrison and one sister, Doris Wesson.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Durey Garrison of Monticello; one son, Daniel Garrison and wife Jessica of Arkadelphia; one daughter, Dawn Campagna and husband Tony of Monticello; one sister, Betty Whitmire of Austin; and four grandchildren, David Garrison, Katelyn Campagna, Elaine Garrison and Casey Garrison.

Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Saturday, February 7, at Second Baptist Church with burial in Rash Cemetery. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to service time.
