Gertrude Dachs Sullivan, 84 of Monticello, passed away Friday, February 6, 2015 at Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello. She was born April 11, 1930 in Kempten, Germany to the late Josef and Zenta Dachs.

She was the widow of Marshall Sullivan, Sr., her husband of 55 years, a homemaker and a Christian. She was a loving mother, grandmother and enjoyed cooking, baking and working with flowers. She was very devoted to her family and loved serving her Lord. She was very kind and complimentary to all people she came in contact with. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, William Dachs and Karl Dachs, one grandson, Ryan Haney, one granddaughter, Hannah Sullivan and one great-grandson, Justin Sullivan.

Survivors include three sons, Joe Sullivan, Sr. and wife Karla, Jimmy Sullivan and wife Lisa and Marshall Sullivan and wife Beverly, all of Monticello; three daughters, Angie Phillips and husband Johnny, Evelyn Haney and husband Larry and Judy Carol Houston and husband Pete, all of Monticello; eleven grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Graveside service will be 4:00 pm Monday, February 9 at Rock Springs Cemetery. Visitation 6:00-8:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Arrangements by Stephenson-Dearman. Online guestbook www.stephensondearman.com.
