He was a retired business development manager for Sysco Foods and a district manager for many years in the food industry having worked for Vogels, PYA Monarch, Quality Foods, PFG and Western Foods. Joe was a member of Pauline Baptist Church and, at the time of his death, was attending Bethel #2 Missionary Baptist Church. He was a loving husband, daddy and Papa Joe to his grandchildren. He loved his family and his work very much along with his little Chihuahua, Gracie.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Barbara Chism Busch; one son, Timothy C. Busch and wife Bonnie of Sheridan; one daughter, Melissa Ann Busch Petty and husband Jeff of Monticello; his daughter-in-law, Tammy Burns Busch of Monticello; two sisters, Clarita Beavert and husband Jim of Hot Springs and Annette Roop and husband Tom of Fayetteville; two grandsons, Joseph Charles "Trey" Busch, III and Justin Lee Busch Petty of Monticello; and one granddaughter, Annelise Nicole Petty of Monticello.
Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 14 at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home with burial in Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home. Online guestbook www.stephensondearman.com.
