David accepted Christ at an early age at Piney Grove African Methodist Episcopal Church in Lacey. He loved listening to music and helping his family and friends do odd jobs around the house. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his father, L.C. Miller of Lacey; two sisters, Beverly (Barry) Miller and Cassandra (John) Miller both of New Hope; one loving niece, Anna Miller of Monticello; three loving nephews, Martinnez Miller, Phillip Miller and Kevin Smith of New Hope and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 am Saturday, March 14 at Stephenson-Dearman Chapel, burial in Lacey Cemetery. Online guestbook www.stephensondearman.com.

Monticello, AR Thursday, March 12, 2015 There really are no words to express how deeply saddened we were by the news of Dave passing. I remember how Dave would help my father with his lawn services. Dave kept everybody laughing who came in contact with him. Dave always hung out at my parents (Ulyess and Ann Lewis) bar-b-q stand, running around asking what could he help them do. Dave had the biggest smile and he was such a loving and caring person, he will be miss. To the family, I pray that God wrap his arms around you all and give you all strength at times like these.
