J.C. was united in holy matrimony to the late Martha Goodman, and to this union six children were born. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one brother, Vugell Goodman and one son Patrick Goodman.
He leaves to cherish his memory three sons, Sgt. 1st Class Jonathan Goodman, U.S. Army Retired Rev. Christopher (Brenda) Goodman and Reggie Goodman all of Monticello; two daughters, Leslie and Regina Goodman both of Monticello; one brother, LeRon Goodman of Malvern; eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relative and friends.
Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Saturday, May 30 at Pilgrim Rest AME Church with burial to follow in Campground Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00-7:30 PM at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home. Online guestbook www.stephensondearman.com.
